Stadler Form Hera EMS-301 Ultrasonic Humidifier

I have quite a large house, and so when I was looking for a humidifier I had to consider one that would be able to cover large spaces. Having shopped around on the internet, I came across the Stadler Form Hera EMS 301. this humidifier is slightly more expensive than other humidifiers on the market. Considering the range it has it is well worth the price, in my opinion.

I have owned many humidifiers in my time but, having moved home recently to a bigger house, I wanted one that would suit my needs in my new home. I have previously had a few troubles with evaporative humidifiers, since the noise levels have disturbed me and my wife while we were trying to sleep. For this reason, we decided it would be a smart idea to purchase an ultrasonic humidifier instead. I have to say, having made this decision, I will not be going back to an evaporative humidifier.

The Basics

The Stadler humidifier comes with many useful extras. One particular useful extra is the mist diffuser which allows you to adjust how fine the mist is as it is emitted from the unit. The nozzle from which the spray comes is actually dual direction which means you can push the mist out into different directions. This is also pretty useful.

One thing I love about the Stadler humidifier is the fact that it includes a demineralization  cartridge. This helps remove any buildup of calcium and bacteria. Since I live in a hard water area this can be a problem with humidifiers, but with the Stadler, since it has this cartridge, I haven’t had a problem. On the packaging it says there is an “ionic silver cube” in the humidifier. This apparently inhibit the growth of mold in the water tank, which can only be a good thing.

The Stadler Form HERA has three different output settings. The major two are warm mist and cool mist humidifier. I do not have children, however, the cool mist settings would be useful if you want to use the humidifier around a baby. This is because with the warm mist setting a child could easily burned themselves on the unit. Equally if the unit was to fall over, this could cause a problem for a child that is nearby.

With this humidifier there are also many more helpful features. These include the fact that you can set your own humidity level, and there is a display which tells you the current humidity level in the room. This allows you to ensure that the humidity levels in your room are exactly as you wish. It also comes with an automatic sleep mode the dims all the lights on the unit and keeps it from disturbing you at night.

The Verdict

I have no complaints with the Stadler Form HERA and I have been very satisfied with it since I bought it.  It might cost a little more than other humidifiers in the market but with its range and its extra features, such as the useful display, I would have to say it is worth every cent.
